For 30 years the Idaho Statesman’s Best of Treasure Valley has established itself at the gold standard of area “Best of” contests. After a one-year hiatus, the Statesman’s BOTV is back with a well-curated selection of categories: “Arts, Entertainment & Things to Do,” “Food & Drink” and “Marketplace.” Each one captures the breadth of the great events and businesses the Treasure Valley offers.

This time around our Statesman staff carefully chose 20 nominees for each category (although some have fewer) based on past Statesman BOTV winners and finalists, and by adding new players in the area.

This time around the Statesman’s BOTV seeks to establish the true measure of what’s best about culture, lifestyle, businesses and trends in the Treasure Valley. To that end, each person gets one vote per category, so there will be no ballot stuffing or campaigns to skew the results.

Readers can be assured that the winners of the 2019 Idaho Statesman’s Best of Treasure Valley truly are the best at what they do.

Find out who is nominated and add your voice and vote online. Voting runs through July 21.

Winners will be announced in the Idaho Statesman’s Treasure magazine Aug. 24.
