All-Idaho softball teams are out. These were the best players in each division

State tournament trophies have nestled into their new homes, and championship banners hang from new walls throughout Idaho. The only awards left to wrap up the Idaho high school softball season are the all-state honors.

Follow the links below to see who took home the top individual awards in all six classifications below. The 115 players include state players of the year, as well as first- and second-team selections.

Looking for a hard copy of the paper as a keepsake? The All-Idaho softball teams will also run in the Sunday, June 21, edition of the Idaho Statesman. You can pick up a copy where papers are sold starting Saturday.

IDAHO ALL-STATE SOFTBALL TEAMS

HOW ARE THE TEAMS CHOSEN?

Coaches in each classification vote on their all-state team. The Idaho Statesman hosts the voting process, reaching out to each school for nominations. The newspaper then creates ballots for each coach, tallies the votes and publishes the results as the All-Idaho team.
