Winner of the Treasure Valley baseball player of the week contest (May 9 to 15)
Voting has closed in the latest Treasure Valley Athletes of the Week contest.

BASEBALL
Conner Marshall, Mountain View: Threw a three-hit shutout to lead the Mavericks to a 6-0 victory over Rocky Mountain and a sweep of the 5A District Three championship series.
Isaac Antunes, Columbia: Led the Wildcats to their first 4A District Three tournament title. He tied the game in the seventh with an RBI double, then added a two-run single in the eighth in the Wildcats’ 5-1 victory.
Willy Shirts, Weiser: Fired a three-hit shutout and struck out six to lead the Wolverines to the 3A District Three title with a 10-0 victory over Fruitland.
Landon Cheney, Nampa Christian: Threw a two-hit shutout and struck out 10 to lead the Trojans to their fourth straight 2A District Three championship with a 3-0 victory over Melba.
Robert Orloski, Middleton: Threw a one-hit shutout and struck out 12 to secure the Vikings a 4A state tournament berth with a 9-0 victory over Ridgevue. He also went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Caden Casagrande, Bishop Kelly: His two-run single in the bottom of the fifth inning led the Knights to a come-from-behind, 6-4 win over Blackfoot in a 4A state play-in game.
Daniel Kormylo, North Star Charter: Didn’t give an earned run and struck out nine in a 7-4 win over Glenns Ferry for the 1A District Three title.
Kailer Saunders, Timberline: Cranked a solo home run and also earned the win on the mound in a 2-1 victory over Borah that clinched the Wolves a 5A state tournament berth. He held the Lions to one run on five hits through six innings while striking out seven.
