GIRLS BASKETBALL

Avery Howell, Boise: Racked up three straight double-doubles to lead the Brave to a third-place finish at state. She averaged 25.3 points, 19.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.

Paige Cofer, Eagle: Averaged 24.5 points in two games at the 5A state tournament to set the Mustangs’ single-season program scoring record with 460 points.

Cianna Legaspi, Rocky Mountain: Led the Grizzlies to a runner-up finish at the 5A state tournament with 12.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.

Mylie Mills, Columbia: Racked up 26 points and eight rebounds while making 13-of-18 field goals to lead the Wildcats to the first state tournament win in program history, a 51-45 upset of second-seeded Blackfoot.

Caroline Knothe, Bishop Kelly: Averaged 8.3 points and 6.3 rebounds to lead the Knights to the third-place trophy at the 4A state tournament.

Mattie Shirts, Weiser: Led the Wolverines to the 3A consolation trophy with 15.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and three steals per game.

Kendall Clark, Melba: Racked up 18.7 points and nine rebounds per game as the Mustangs capped a perfect season with the 2A state championship.

McKayla Hart, Council: Led the Lumberjacks to the first state title in program history with 10 points, 8.3 rebounds and five blocks per game at the 1A Division II state tournament.
