BOYS WRESTLING

Tanner Frothinger, Eagle: Scored four unanswered points in the third round for a 7-4 win in the 5A 130-pound district finals and four his fourth straight district title.

Joseph Jimenez, Nampa: The fourth seed pinned the top seed and finished with an 11-4 decision over the No. 2 seed for the 5A 145-pound district title.

Aden Attao, Borah: Extended his perfect record (32-0) with a 14-0 victory for the 5A heavyweight district championship. He has not given up a single offensive point all season.

Cade White, Meridian: Led the Warriors to their fourth straight district team title and won his fourth straight individual title with a 3-2 decision in the 5A 160-pound finals.

Jadon Skellenger, Bishop Kelly: Remained undefeated (40-0) with three straight pins for the 4A 152-pound district championship, leading the Knights to the team title.

Hunter Bidelman, Caldwell: Scored a reversal with 8 seconds left for the 4A 145-pound district title, extending his perfect record to 44-0.

Nakoa Fouret, Columbia: Won his third straight district championship, pinning all three opponents he faced in the 4A 170-pound division. No match made it to the third round.

Marcus Aleman, Fruitland: Scored two straight first-round pins for the 3A 113-pound title, leading the Grizzlies to the team title and ending Weiser’s seven-year run of district championships.

Trell McFarlane, Homedale: Captured the 3A 106-pound district title with back-to-back second-round pins.

Maddox Stevens, Weiser: Rode three straight pins to the 3A 170-pound district championship. No match reached the third round.

Nathan Willoughby, New Plymouth: Needed less than a minute for two pins to win the 2A heavyweight district title.

Grant Svedin, Melba: Racked up three straight first-round pins for the 2A 145-pound district title.

JC Henry, Tri-Valley: Rode three straight pins to the 2A 152-pound district title, knocking off the top seed in the finals.

GIRLS WRESTLING

Olivia Woods, Eagle: Needed just nine seconds to score a pin in the heavyweight district finals for her second district championship.

Nia Avelino, Caldwell: Racked up four first-round pins for the 100-pound district title.

Mia Furman, Rocky Mountain: Scored three straight first-round pins to cruise to the 145-pound district championship.

Dahlia Yerby, Emmett: Pinned her way to the 107-pound district finals, then scored a 10-0 major decision over the top seed.

De Ci Aye, New Plymouth: Ran away with a 12-0 major decision for the 114-pound district title.

Audrey Deleon, Weiser: Rode three straight pins to the 120-pound district championship.

Sophie Sarver, Mountain View: Brought home the 126-pound district title after three pins and a 6-4 decision in the finals.

Jordan Barrett, Payette: Captured the 132-pound district championship with a 2-0 decision over Fruitland’s Kiana Dullanty.

Elise Twait, Meridian: Use three pins and a tech fall to bring home the 138-pound district championship.

Hallie Campbell, Columbia: Won the 152-pound district title with a 44-second pin and a forfeit.
