The Idaho 6A regional baseball playoffs started Friday around the state. See all the latest scores on the road to state in the bracket below.

Teams must win their three-team, double-elimination tournament to advance to a new four-team state tournament next week.

SEEDS FOR 6A REGIONAL TEAMS

Twelve teams will compete in the 6A regional playoffs in four separate brackets.

The champions of each district, plus the second-place team from the Boise area, will host the four brackets. But winning a district does not guarantee a first-round bye.

The remaining teams either qualified through their district tournament or received one of four at-large berths based on their MaxPreps.com rankings.

Below is the list of the overall seeds. These seeds will also be used for the state tournament.

  • 1. Owyhee (23-1) — District 3 champ
  • 2. Middleton (18-4) — District 3 runner-up
  • 3. Rocky Mountain (20-6) — District 3 auto qualifier
  • 4. Coeur d’Alene (16-4) — At-large berth
  • 5. Mountain View (17-9) — District 3 auto qualifier
  • 6. Centennial (18-6) — District 3 auto qualifier
  • 7. Lake City (13-8) — District 1 champ
  • 8. Eagle (13-11) — At-large berth
  • 9. Highland (18-9) — District 4-5-6 auto qualifier
  • 10. Ridgevue (12-10-1) — At-large berth
  • 11. Madison (19-9) — District 4-5-6 champ
  • 12. Capital (11-15) — At-large berth

  • 14. Borah (9-16)
  • 15. Post Falls (8-11)
  • 16. Timberline (9-17)
