Idaho high school baseball regional playoffs are set. See the seeds and matchups
A new era is upon us.
The Idaho High School Activities Association announced the seeds, brackets and matchups for the state’s first baseball regional tournaments Sunday.

HOW DO THE REGIONAL PLAYOFFS WORK?
The new playoff round determines who qualifies for the four-team state tournaments in each classification.
Previously, Idaho sent eight teams to state based on their district tournament finish. Now, high school baseball teams must first win their regional tournament or series to contend for a state title.
The formats vary by classification. But teams qualify for regionals based on their district tournament finishes. Idaho also reserves some at-large berths in each classification based on the final MaxPreps.com rankings.
