BASEBALL

Dillon Fine, Homedale: Hit two home runs, including a grand slam, and drove in six runs against Payette. He also struck out 10 and didn’t allow an earned run in five innings on the mound.

Jaden Belton, Centennial: Led the Patriots to a 5-2 win over Eagle by pitching a complete game and holding the Mustangs to two runs on six hits. He also went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI in the game.

Cosmo Lange, Boise: Went 5-for-10 with a home run and four RBIs in three games. He homered and threw 6 ⅔ innings while giving up one run in a 7-2 win at Meridian.

Zeke Ochoa, Horseshoe Bend: Threw a five-inning no-hitter and struck out 10 in a 13-0 win at Idaho City.

JT Penrod, Columbia: Ripped a walk-off double in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead the Wildcats to a 6-5 win over Emmett.

Brayden Walls, Timberline: Thew a complete-game, four-hit shutout and struck out 10 in a 2-0 victory against Mountain View. He also went 1-for-3 with an RBI to aid his own cause.

Hunter Cliff, Kuna: Hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth inning in the Kavemen’s 3-2 win vs. Borah.

Drew Schumacher, Owyhee: Hit a walk-off double in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift the Storm to a 3-2 win over Mountain View.

Brayden Schaefer, Nampa Christian: Thew a five-hit shutout and struck out eight in a 4-0 win against Cole Valley Christian. He didn’t issue a single walk.

Sam Hultman, Parma: Fell a single short of the cycle in an 8-5 win vs. McCall-Donnelly, finishing 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, a home run and four RBIs.

Teagan Kinney, Marsing: Went 4-for-5 with four doubles and four RBIs in a 15-9 win at New Plymouth. He finished the week 7-for-12 with five doubles and six RBIs.

Noah Palomares, Skyview: Went 7-for-10 with two doubles, a home run and five RBIs to lead the Hawks to three conference wins.
