Winner of the Treasure Valley track athlete of the week contests (April 25 to May 1)
Voting has closed in the latest Treasure Valley Athletes of the Week contest.
Here are the winners. You can read about all the candidates and their accomplishments below.

BOYS TRACK
Grady Mylander, Nampa Christian: Finished eighth in the 3,000 meters (8:31.86) at the Nike/Jesuit Twilight Relays in Portland. His time converts to a 9:03.81 for the 3,200, which is the fastest time in the state this season.
Landon Helms, Emmett: Nearly every week, the senior seems to get faster in the 110 hurdles. His latest state-leading time of 13.91 seconds was good enough for first at the YMCA Invitational, where he also won the long jump (21-7.50) and pole vault (16-6).
McKoy Richardson, Melba: Took over the top spot in the state this season with his victory in the 300 hurdles (38.73) at the YMCA Invitational. Two days earlier at the Dave Mangum Invitational, he won the 110 hurdles (15.34), long jump (20-10.75) and ran a leg on Melba’s winning 4x400 relay (3:37.00).
Eli Lawrence, Meridian: Came an inch short of matching the overall state meet record in the triple jump with his mark of 49-9.25 to win the YMCA Invitational. The distance is a personal best and tops in the state this season.
Luke Barinaga, Fruitland: At the SRV Conference meet in Fruitland on a rainy, windy day, Barinaga placed first in the 100 (11.73), 200 (24.06), long jump (20-1.5) and 4x100 relay (47.54).
Luke Stockett, Victory Charter: Ran to victory in the 3,200 (9:40.88) at the YMCA Invitational with a personal-best time that ranks second in the 1A classification this season. He also placed ninth in the elite 1,600 (4:29.43) for a 4-second personal best and the third-fastest time in the 1A classification.
Barrett Davis, Eagle: Won the triple jump at the Nike/Jesuit Twilight Relays with a distance of 45-0.5 on his third attempt, while also finishing fourth in the 100 (11.22), fourth in the long jump (21-4) and anchoring the Mustangs’ second-place 4x100 relay (43.74).
Carter Woodland, Notus: Finished on the podium in four events at Melba’s Dave Mangum Invitational by winning the triple jump (41-2.5), finishing second in the long jump (19-11.75) and 100 (11.50) and running a leg on the Pirates’ third-place 4x100 relay (46.16).
Mason Lawyer, Boise: Swept the 100 (11.14) and 200 (21.99) at the YMCA Invitational. The senior currently ranks among the top 4 in the state in both events.
Cace Lewis, Payette: Established the top mark in the 3A classification this season with his clearance of 6-4 in the high jump at the Don Walker Invite.

GIRLS TRACK
Faith Johnson, Owyhee: The freshman won the 800 meters (2:33.46) at a tri-meet with Timberline and Mountain View last Wednesday. She then won both the 1,600 (5:19.32) and 3,200 (11:59.25) at the Skyview Invitational. All three times were personal bests.
Eva Lowder, Centennial: A week after setting the school record in the pole vault, the junior broke her own record with a clearance of 13 feet at the YMCA Invitational. The mark is tops in the state this season by 6 inches.
Adeline Wimer, Columbia: Clocked the fastest 400 time in the 4A classification this season with a 58.93, good enough for third at the YMCA Invitational. She also won the 200 at the meet in 26.13.
Tatum Richards, Emmett: Took second in the pole vault behind Centennial’s Eva Lowder with a clearance of 12-6 at the YMCA Invitational. Richards’ mark is the best in the 4A classification this season.
Emma Hillam, Fruitland: Established the fastest 800 time in the 3A classification this season (2:19.16) with her victory in the event at the SRV Conference meet.
Anna Dixon, Greenleaf: Ran the fastest 1,600 in the 1A classification this season with her personal-best time of 5:24.25, good enough for fourth at the Skyview Invitational.
Lydia Nance, Boise: Won both the 400 (57.83) and 1,600 (5:10.33) at the YMCA Invitational. Both times were personal bests.
Maddie Romberg, Borah: Swept the throwing events at the YMCA Invitational, winning the shot put with a throw of 34-9 and the discus with a distance of 110-4.
Kaila Mederios, Meridian: Took first in the long jump (17-0) and triple jump (35-0) at the YMCA Invitational. She also added a fourth-place showing in the 100 (13.41).
