Voting has closed in the latest Treasure Valley Athletes of the Week contest sponsored by Edmark Toyota.

Here are the winners. You can read about all the candidates and their accomplishments below.

  • Football: Benny Guevara, Notus
  • Volleyball: Delaney Bub, Eagle
  • Girls soccer: Natasja Davis, Kuna
  • Boys soccer: Bryan Alba, Payette
  • Cross country: Sean Janecko, Timberline

FOOTBALL

Caden Young, Emmett: Led the Huskies to a 42-41 win at Middleton that saw Emmett score 14 points in the final 65 seconds. Young ran for 280 yards and five TDs. He also was 7-of-10 for 83 yards and another TD through the air.

Marcus Connors, Centennial: The backup QB came in after halftime and led the Patriots to a 35-25 win over Kuna, accounting for 134 total yards and two TDs.

Gus Black, Rimrock: Ran for 270 yards and four TDs in a 44-0 win vs. Idaho City. He also made 13.5 tackles to lead the shutout.

Hayden Kincheloe, Homedale: Ran for 343 yards and four TDs on 26 carries to carry the Trojans to a 48-0 win vs. Payette.

Jackson Beck, Mountain View: Led the Mavericks defense with two sacks as they held Capital to six points in a 24-6 victory that clinched Mountain View a spot in the 5A SIC championship game.

Tegan Sweeney, Rocky Mountain: Threw for 196 yards and three TDs to lead the Grizzlies to a 30-16 win against Timberline.

Jack Benson, Eagle: Completed 17-of-21 passes for 265 yards and three TDs as the Mustangs routed Skyview 51-14.

Trais Higgins, Nampa: Turned five catches into 194 yards and two TDs in the Bulldogs’ 55-20 win against Columbia.

Santi Diaz, Vallivue: Ran for 52 yards and three TDs, and added 111 yards and another score passing in the Falcons’ 34-0 win at district rival Ridgevue.

Dane Bradshaw, Nampa Christian: Racked up 194 total yards and three TDs to lead the Trojans to a 28-20 win at perennial power Declo. He scored the game-winning touchdown with 16 seconds left on a 28-yard catch.

Benny Guevara, Notus: Ran for 135 yards and two TDs, threw for another touchdown and made 15 tackles in the Pirates’ 54-12 win vs. Hagerman.

Gabe Zavala, Salmon River: Accounted for five touchdowns in Salmon River’s’ 66-8 win vs. Meadows Valley. He was 8-of-12 for 120 yards and three TDs passing, and he ran for 86 yards and two more scores.

VOLLEYBALL

Delaney Bub, Eagle: Tallied a combined 21 kills and 12 digs in wins over Kuna and Centennial.

Piper Davis, Timberline: Led the Wolves to a five-set win against Rocky Mountain and a sweep of Owyhee with 28 kills, four blocks and 15 digs.

Jeanice Gamez, Columbia: Finished the week with 20 kills and 15 digs in straight-set wins against Caldwell and Emmett.

Annelie Wilson, Horseshoe Bend: Led the Mustangs to sweeps of Garden Valley and Tri-Valley with 23 combined kills. She then added 55 kills (.662 hitting percentage), seven blocks and 18 digs as Horseshoe Bend wonf the Butte County tournament.

Katy Wentz, Garden Valley: Had 25 kills, 19 assists and 11 digs in a five-set loss to Council. She finished four matches with 46 kills, 11 aces and 29 digs.

Audrah Radford, Nampa: Led the Bulldogs to wins over Vallivue, Caldwell and Bishop Kelly with a combined 76 kills and 22 digs.

London Ipsen, Centennial: Racked up 18 kills, three aces and 17 digs in a four-set win at Meridian.

Katie Compas, Parma: Had 13 kills, 25 assists and 10 digs in the Panthers’ sweep at McCall-Donnelly.

GIRLS SOCCER

Natasja Davis, Kuna: Netted the tying goal in a 1-1 draw with Owyhee on senior night, then scored two goals in a 4-1 victory over Meridian in a district play-in game.

Kayla Wallace, Eagle: Scored the game-winning goal as the Mustangs knocked off Mountain View 1-0 in the first round of the 5A district tournament. She also scored twice in the play-in game.

Abbi Roubidoux, Fruitland: Poured in seven goals to lead the Grizzlies to a 9-0 win at McCall-Donnelly.

Izzy Reyes, Bishop Kelly: Scored five goals and added an assist in three wins for the Knights, including a 3-0 victory against Nampa to open the 4A district tournament.

Addie McAllister, Middleton: Had a hand in all three goals (two goals, one assist) in a 3-0 win against Nampa. She then added another goal in a 3-0 victory against Caldwell to open the 4A district tournament.

BOYS SOCCER

Jeremiah Moreno, Timberline: The sophomore clinched the Wolves a regular-season 5A SIC championship with the lone goal in a 1-0 win vs. Boise. He settled a 40-yard cross with his thigh, then blasted a shot past the goalkeeper.

Jaden Pineda, Caldwell: Led the Cougars to three wins with four goals and seven assists this week. That includes three assists in Caldwell’s 7-0 victory against Nampa to open the 4A district tournament.

Ethan Cutler, Eagle: Scored twice to lead the Mustangs’ to a 5-0 win against Owyhee in a 5A district tournament play-in game.

Bryan Alba, Payette: Recorded a hat trick in the Pirates’ 5-2 win vs. Fruitland in a 3A district tournament play-in game.

CROSS COUNTRY

Ian Stockett, Victory Charter: Won his second straight meet, finishing first in the boys race at the Charger Classic at 16:23.75.

Cameron Moore, Ambrose: Won her fourth straight race, taking first place in the girls division at the Charger Classic at 19:43.84.

Sean Janecko, Timberline: Won the Gib Floyd Invite boys race at 15:42.80, his first victory of the season.

Malia Lowe, Kuna: Finished first in the girls division at Gib Floyd at 17:32.60, her second straight victory.

Austin Clough, Bishop Kelly: Led the Knights to the boys team title at the Inland Empire Challenge with his third-place finish at 15:24.
