Boise State football coaches earn big raises in new contracts. Here’s how much they make

Boise State football announced it had extended the contracts of seven assistant coaches last week.

The extensions, pending approval from the Idaho State Board of Education, see most of the Broncos’ staff earn a raise after a successful 2024 season that saw the Broncos win the Mountain West championship and qualify for the first 12-team College Football Playoff.

Erik Chinander (defensive coordinator/defensive line), Stacy Collins (assistant head coach/special teams coordinator/linebackers), Jabril Frazier (edge), Benjamin Hilgart (director of sports performance), James Montgomery (running backs), Tyler Stockton (co-defensive coordinator/safeties) and Demario Warren (cornerbacks) signed on the dotted line to extend their stay in Boise.

Boise State also promoted Nate Potter to offensive coordinator in early January. Boise State athletic director Jeramiah Dickey — who signed a five-year contract extension last month — also said in December that he wants to sign head coach Spencer Danielson to a new deal.

The Idaho Statesman has obtained the term sheets for each new contract. Here’s how much each assistant coach makes and how long their contract runs.
