FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Jack Brant, Timberline: Went 12-for-19 for 123 yards and a TD, and ran for a game-high 105 yards and another score in a 21-7 win over Middleton that sent the Wolves to the state semifinals for the first time in program history.

Rasean Jones, Rocky Mountain: Turned six offensive touches into 111 total yards, and made seven tackles and grabbed an interception on defense in a 13-6 victory against Eagle in the 6A state quarterfinals.

Ryan Arellano, Bishop Kelly: Ran for 218 yards and two TDs on 21 carries to lead the Knights to a 40-8 win over Blackfoot in the 5A state quarterfinals.

Javid Blewett, Homedale: Ran for 116 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries in a 30-22 win over Weiser, sending the Trojans to the 4A state semifinals for the ninth straight year.

Titus Vidlak, Fruitland: Combined for 362 total yards and five touchdowns in a 41-27 victory against Buhl in the 4A state quarterfinals. He also kicked field goals of 28 and 22 yards.

Pete Dice, Nampa Christian: Completed 14-of-21 passes for 296 yards and three TDs in a 30-14 win over North Fremont, sending the Trojans to the semifinals for the first time since 2015.

Eli Noah, Tri-Valley: Ran for 209 yards and five touchdowns on 17 carries, and made 12 tackles on defense in an 82-32 win over Deary in the 1A state quarterfinals.

Jim Tucker, Council: Turned 16 carries into 184 yards and three touchdowns in a 46-8 win over conference rival Garden Valley in the 1A state quarterfinals.
