FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Oakley Baxter, Rocky Mountain: Ran for 108 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries in a 38-8 win over Owyhee in the first round of the 6A state playoffs.

Jake Perez, Middleton: Ran for 237 yards and five touchdowns on 30 carries in a 64-34 victory against Capital in the first round of the 6A state playoffs.

Brody Munson, Mountain View: Hauled in five catches for 70 yards and two TDs in a 45-7 rout of Highland in the first round of the 6A state playoffs.

Elliot Schrack, Capital: Made five catches for 165 yards and two touchdowns in a 64-34 loss to Middleton in the first round of the 6A state playoffs.

Logan McDonald, Boise: Racked up 176 total yards and a touchdown on 24 offensive touches in a 17-14 loss to Madison in the first round of the 6A state playoffs.

Dom Wolthuis, Bishop Kelly: Turned four catches into 97 yards and three touchdowns in a 56-14 win over Emmett in the first round of the 5A state playoffs.

Jackson Cheslak, Columbia: Ran for 198 yards and two TDs on 26 carries in a 49-21 loss to Century in the first round of the 5A state playoffs.

Ty Cobb, Weiser: Ran for 132 yards and two TDs on 17 carries in a 47-21 win over Teton in the first round of the 4A state playoffs.

Braxton Mowder, New Plymouth: Turned 13 offensive touches into 108 total yards and a touchdown in a 24-14 win at Declo in the first round of the 3A state playoffs.

Gage George, Tri-Valley: Ran for 149 yards and two touchdowns in a 64-20 win over Hansen in the first round of the 1A state playoffs.

Payson Kelly, Garden Valley: Ran for 138 yards and two TDs, and completed 9-of-14 passes for 106 yards and another score in a 38-8 win over Challis in the first round of the 1A state playoffs.

Riley Davis, Salmon River: Touched the ball 30 times on offense and produced 232 total yards and six touchdowns in a 64-58 loss to Wallace in the first round of the 1A state playoffs.
