FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Nash O’Kelley, Timberline: Hauled in five passes for 59 yards and three touchdowns as the Wolves clinched the 6A SIC Foothills Division title with a 31-20 upset of No. 1 Rocky Mountain.

Noah Burnham, Eagle: Racked up 280 total yards and five touchdowns on 20 offensive touches in a 53-6 rout of Borah.

Jake Perez, Middleton: Ran for 305 yards and three touchdowns on 33 carries in a 27-20 win over Capital that clinched the Vikings a home game in the 6A SIC’s crossdivision round.

Easton Nungaray, Meridian: Completed 13-of-21 passes for 234 yards and five touchdowns in a 40-14 win over Centennial that kept the Warriors’ playoff chances alive.

Eli Brennan, Emmett: Finished with 277 total yards and five touchdowns in a 42-34 win over Nampa.

Titus Vidlak, Fruitland: Went 11-for-17 for 140 yards and three touchdowns as the Grizzlies wrapped up the 4A SRV title with a 34-12 win over Weiser.

Kade Hall, Homedale: Ran for 100 yards and four touchdowns on 16 carries in a 42-21 win at McCall-Donnelly.

Noah Sulahian, Cole Valley Christian: Ran for 132 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries in a 55-7 win over Payette.

Ian Johnson, Nampa Christian: Racked up 177 total yards and three touchdowns on 17 offensive touches in a 41-8 win against Marsing.

Rhett Franklin, Melba: Ran for 215 yards and four TDs on 11 carries, made nine tackles and recovered a fumble in a 66-7 win over Parma.

Mark Lungu, Notus: Ran 268 yards and four touchdowns on 24 carries in a 42-34 win at Idaho City that moved the Pirates into first place in the 2A WIC.

Owen Hatfield, Council: Threw for 103 yards and three touchdowns, and ran for 135 yards and another score in a 64-14 win against Salmon River.
