FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Hudson Lewis, Timberline: Turned seven offensive touches into 221 yards and four TDs in a 50-19 rout of Capital. He also grabbed an interception, forced and recovered a fumble, and made three tackles on defense.
Noah Burnham, Eagle: Ran for 101 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries, and added four catches for 67 yards and another score in a 21-14 win at Mountain View.
Daysen Boltz, Meridian: Hauled in nine catches for 168 yards and a touchdown to help lead the Warriors to a 21-20 victory over Middleton for their first win of the season.
Parker Kleinkopf, Rocky Mountain: Ran for 96 yards and three touchdowns on just six carries in the Grizzlies’ 41-7 win over Centennial.
Corbin Gill, Owyhee: Kicked a game-winning, 33-yard field goal with 18 seconds left to lift the Storm to a 16-14 victory over Kuna.
Ryland Rush, Nampa: Hauled in four catches for 106 yards and three TDs, and returned an interception 100 yards for another score to lead the Bulldogs to their first win of the year in a 50-28 victory over Skyview.
Hunter Schmittel, Ridgevue: Finished with seven total touchdowns in a 51-15 win over Caldwell. He completed 14-of-19 passes for 241 yards and five TDs, and ran for 28 yards and two more scores.
Ilijiah Oetting, Caldwell: Turned four catches into 123 yards and a touchdown in a 56-15 loss to Ridgevue.
Onix Carson, Vallivue: Ran for 193 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries to lead the Falcons to a 28-21 victory at Emmett.
Javid Blewett, Homedale: Ran for a pair of touchdowns, blocked a punt and returned it for six points, and grabbed an interception — all in the first quarter — in a 48-0 rout of Payette.
Cole Ingle, Weiser: Made 13 tackles and ran for 77 yards and three touchdowns in the Wolverines’ 21-14 win at McCall-Donnelly.
Riley Davis, Salmon River: Turned 18 carries into 193 yards and three touchdowns, and racked up 18 tackles, two sacks and an interception on defense in a 38-15 victory over Notus.
