Idaho high school football rankings: Upset creates two new No. 1-ranked teams

Bishop Kelly’s victory over reigning 6A state champ Rigby on Friday reverberated across classifications in the latest Idaho high school football media poll.

Rocky Mountain took over the top spot in the 6A classification, and Bishop Kelly moved up to No. 1 in the 5A rankings released Tuesday. It marked the first time atop the rankings for both teams this season.

Other notable changes include Eagle climbing to No. 2 in 6A, Kamiah going from unranked to No. 2 in 2A, and Council climbing to second in 1A.
