FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Oakley Baxter, Rocky Mountain: Turned 16 carries into 168 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-21 victory against rival Rocky Mountain.
Quincey Clay, Capital: Only needed 11 offensive touches to rack up 179 total yards and four touchdowns in a 55-7 rout of rival Borah.
Drew Holman, Middleton: Racked up 24 tackles and broke up three passes in a 28-14 victory over Kuna.
Hank Nelson, Mountain View: Completed 23-of-35 passes for 336 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-21 loss to Rocky Mountain.
Hudson Lewis, Timberline: Made 11 catches for 132 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner in a 20-13 victory against Boise.
Noah Burnham, Eagle: Ran for 225 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries in a 41-14 rout of Centennial.
Jackson Cheslak, Columbia: Ran for 180 yards and three touchdowns on 31 carries in a 28-20 win over Nampa, leading the Wildcats to their fifth all-time victory over their crosstown rival.
Jared Thiel, Bishop Kelly: Returned one of his three interceptions for a touchdown, recovered a fumble, made eight tackles and broke up three passes in a 29-15 win over defending 6A state champ Rigby.
Onix Carson, Vallivue: Ran for 101 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries in a 26-6 win over Skyview.
Pete Dice, Nampa Christian: Went 16-for-22 for 179 yards and two TDs, and added two more touchdowns on the ground in a 35-3 rout of Cole Valley Christian.
Riley Davis, Salmon River: Ran for 120 yards and four touchdowns on 17 carries in a 40-12 win at Lewis County.
Gavan Pearce, Garden Valley: Returned a pair of kickoffs for touchdowns and hauled in four passes for 98 yards and another score in a 44-42 win over Enterprise, Oregon.
