FOOTBALL

Payton Gunter, Nampa: Turned five catches into 70 yards and two TDs in a 42-21 win at Boise. He also had two sacks on defense.

Tyson Fox, Vallivue: Ran for 331 yards and three fourth-quarter touchdowns to lead the Falcons to a 64-42, come-from-behind win over Skyview. He averaged 17.4 yards per carry, ran in five two-point conversions and caught a 36-yard TD too.

Brody Swearhart, Rocky Mountain: Recovered a pair of fumbles in the first quarter that led to 14 points in the Grizzlies’ 17-10 win over rival Eagle.

Ian Duarte, Eagle: Turned 11 offensive touches into 191 total yards, including an 87-yard touchdown catch in a 17-10 loss at Rocky Mountain.

Justin McGee, Mountain View: Ran for 114 yards on 22 carries and threw a 25-yard touchdown pass in his first start as the Mavericks’ No. 1 running back, a 34-31 win at Owyhee.

Gabe Alvarado, Owyhee: Had 11 catches for 201 yards and three TDs in a 34-31 loss to Mountain View.

Marco Del Rio, Meridian: Ran for 109 yards and two TDs on 10 carries, and added a 61-yard touchdown catch in a 56-7 rout at Middleton.

Cole Luekenga, Kuna: Went 31-for-39 for 324 yards and two TDs to lead Kuna to a late rally and a 35-28, overtime win over Borah.

Dakota Perry, Emmett: Threw for 202 yards and six TDs to lead the Huskies to a 55-27 win over Lake City.

Gabe Shaffer, Melba: Ran for 200 yards and three TDs as the Mustangs routed Orofino 78-0.

Aiden Thompson, Nampa Christian: Completed 10-of-12 passes for 221 yards and six TDs in a 61-8 win at Parma.

Carter Woodland, Notus: Ran for 247 yards and three TDs on 22 carries as the Pirates beat Clearwater Valley 62-22.

Gavin Kelly, Garden Valley: Only needed 11 carries to post 92 yards and three touchdowns in the Wolverines’ 64-12 win vs. Idaho City.

Blayne Meyer, Horseshoe Bend: Ran for 209 yards and three TDs, caught a touchdown pass, and blocked and returned a punt for a TD in the Mustangs’ 53-8 win over Wilder.
