BOYS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Cooper Patterson, Mountain View: Averaged 15.5 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and four steals in wins over Borah and Rocky Mountain. He led the Mavericks to a 20-point comeback against Rocky Mountain in a district play-in game.

Gabe Eddins, Centennial: Racked up 32 points and six rebounds while shooting 12-for-19 from the floor, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range, in an 83-76, overtime win against Kuna.

Quincey Clay, Capital: Finished with 22 points, four rebounds and two assists in a 62-60 win over Timberline.

James Smutny, Skyview: Averaged 32.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and five assists while making a combined 13-of-21 3-pointers in victories over Columbia and Caldwell.

Tye Cornwall, Middleton: Averaged 23 points, 3.5 rebounds, four assists and 2.5 steals while shooting 17-for-34 from the field as the Vikings split matchups against Bishop Kelly and Vallivue.

Tavin Jones, Columbia: Averaged 24.5 points, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals to lead the Wildcats to a split with Skyview and Emmett.

Micahel Kaczmarek, Idaho City: Fell just two blocks shy of a triple-double with 10 points, 14 rebounds and eight blocks in a 41-40 loss to Centennial Baptist.

Kingston Pyle, Salmon River: Racked up 15 points, 11 rebounds, two assists and two steals in a 57-43 win over Tri-Valley in the first round of the 1A Long Pin district tournament.
