BOYS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Alex Ko, Timberline: Averaged 18 points and three rebounds to lead the Wolves to road wins at Boise and Ridgevue.

Cameron Downie, Owyhee: Scored 15 points in a 74-56 win over Capital, then added 20 points in a 71-47 victory against Borah to keep the Storm undefeated in the 6A SIC.

Gabe Eddins, Centennial: Averaged 29.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 steals in wins over Kuna, Rocky Mountain and Mountain View.

Hunter White, Meridian: Posted a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Warriors to their fifth straight win with a 53-39 victory over Borah. He shot 5-for-10 from the floor while adding three assists.

Blake Bishop, Middleton: Scored a career-high 31 points in a 66-58 win over Bishop Kelly in a battle atop the 5A SIC standings. He averaged 20 points and seven rebounds in two wins while shooting 16-for-25 from the floor.

Soren Fraas, Cole Valley Christian: The freshman scored 29 points on 9-for-13 shooting, including 7-for-9 behind the 3-point line, in a 68-57 win against Weiser.

Lincoln Mathis, Ambrose: Averaged 30 points, 12.5 rebounds, four assists and 2.5 steals in two games as the Archers clinched the 3A WIC’s regular-season title.

Kellen Walbuck, Compass Charter: Stuffed the stat sheet with 27 points, eight rebounds, five steals and four assists in a 63-53 win over Notus.

Brandon Leal Perez, Wilder: Sank 5-of-6 3-pointers and finished 7-for-12 from the floor to score 21 points in a 50-36 win at Gem State.

Maxon Yearsley, Garden Valley: Racked up 22 points, three assists, two steals and two rebounds in limited minutes in a 70-36 win over Horseshoe Bend.
