BOYS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Zane Gammon, Ambrose: The sophomore guard scored 21 points and added 12 rebounds and seven assists without a turnover in an 87-51 victory over Marsing.
Tye Cornwall, Middleton: In a pair of 5A SIC wins over Emmett and Nampa, the junior guard averaged 21.5 points, 3.0 steals, 2.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.
Boden Howell, Owyhee: The Storm remained unbeaten in 6A SIC play as Howell had 26 points and six rebounds in a win over Centennial, and then 20 points and five assists in a victory over Mountain View.
Kaden Salvadori, Skyview: In a victory over Emmett, Salvadori erupted for 40 points with three rebounds, three steals and two assists. He also had 15 points, four rebounds and two steals in a loss to Bishop Kelly.
Kellen Walbuck, Compass Charter: Contributed 13 points, seven rebounds and five assists in a win over Liberty Charter and then had 26 points, seven steals and six rebounds in a victory over Idaho City.
Isaac Thacker, Boise: The Brave went 1-1 in 6A SIC action last week as Thacker averaged 15.5 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals per game.
Gabe Eddins, Centennial: Surpassed 1,000 career points with 11 points in a win over Boise to go with 12 rebounds, five assists and two steals.
Tucker Tiddens, Ridgevue: Although the Warhawks lost a pair of 6A SIC games last week, Tiddens averaged a team-leading 26.5 points per game.
Vic Gutierrez, Vallivue: Accounted for nearly half of the Falcons’ points in a 61-56 win over Caldwell by pouring in a team-leading 29 points.
David McNamara, Capital: The Eagles defeated 6A SIC foe Eagle 82-59 as McNamara notched a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds to go with eight assists and three steals.
