GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Berkley Jones, Eagle: Posted a monster double-double of 25 points and 18 rebounds in a 68-55 win over Kuna, and averaged 22 points and 11 rebounds for the week.

Avery Patricco, Boise: The senior had 10 points and five assists in a 58-42 win over Rocky Mountain and then added 18 points, including going 5-for-6 from 3-point range, with three assists in a win over Timberline.

Tariah Carter, Melba: Led the Mustangs to victories over Baker City (OR), New Plymouth and Marsing while averaging 16 points, 8.7 rebounds and 4.3 steals per game.

Gabby Nabors, Columbia: Helped the Wildcats edge crosstown rival Skyview 48-47 on the road by contributing 15 points and four rebounds.

Kaidance Kaiser, Parma: Helped the Panthers stay unbeaten in 3A WIC play by averaging 16.5 points, 8.0 steals and 4.5 rebounds per game on the week.

Jaeda Morrison, Kuna: The Kavemen beat Timberline and lost to Eagle in 6A SIC play as Morrison averaged a team-leading 23.5 points per game.

Zoey Blackwell, Middleton: In a matchup of the top two teams in the 5A SIC, the Vikings topped Bishop Kelly 65-34 as Blackwell totaled 20 points, four steals and three assists.

Rylee Walters, Salmon River: Led the Savages to a 2-1 week, including wins over Council and Greenleaf, by averaging a team-best 19.7 points per game.

Emma Ormsby, McCall-Donnelly: The Vandals remained in a three-way tie for first in the 4A SRV with a victory over Homedale as Ormsby notched a team-leading 22 points.

Raelynn Nickel, Vision Charter: Flirted with a triple-double in a 2A WIC loss to Victory Charter, totaling 13 points, 13 rebounds, seven steals and three assists.
