GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Libby Nelson, Boise: The junior scored 11 points off the bench in the Brave’s 55-33 win over Capital. She then totaled 16 points, including a 3-for-4 performance from 3-point range, with five rebounds in an 83-34 victory over Meridian.
Sarah Walker, Kuna: Contributed 21 points, seven rebounds and four assists in a win over Meridian. She then had 26 points, six rebounds, six assists and two steals in a victory against Centennial.
Josie Davis, Owyhee: The Storm remained unbeaten in 6A SIC play with wins over Borah and Rocky Mountain as Davis averaged 13.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
Tariah Carter, Melba: Notched a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds to go with six assists and four steals in a 52-33 victory over Ambrose in 3A WIC action.
Rylie Calkins, Parma: The Panthers improved to 10-0 in 3A WIC play with a 63-42 win over New Plymouth as Calkins totaled 26 points, 14 rebounds and four steals.
Jamysen Yates, Timberline: The Wolves defeated Capital 39-34 in 6A SIC play as Yates contributed a game-high 19 points with six rebounds.
Addy Bayne, Columbia: Helped the Wildcats take down Nampa 48-32 in 5A SIC action with a double-double of 21 points and 15 rebounds; also had two steals.
Natalie Goslin, Emmett: The Huskies earned a 50-24 victory over Columbia in 5A SIC play as Goslin notched a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds along with two steals.
Elsie Wyatt, Middleton: The Vikings improved to 13-0 in 5A SIC play, including a 90-9 win over Vallivue in which Wyatt racked up 25 points, seven steals and three rebounds.
Berkley Jones, Eagle: The Mustangs knocked off Ridgevue 54-40 in a 6A SIC matchup, with Jones contributing a game-leading 22 points.
