Idaho high school girls basketball rankings: Two new teams emerge at No. 1
As a result of losses by teams ahead of them in the rankings, two new No. 1 teams emerged in the latest Idaho high school girls basketball media poll.
Unbeaten Sugar-Salem took over top billing in the 4A classification, while Genesee became the No. 1 team in the 1A classification by a single point over Rockland.
Owyhee remained the top team in the 6A ranks for the sixth consecutive week. The Storm have won nine straight games and have just one loss this season, to Democracy Prep (Nev.).
Nine teams from Southwest Idaho ranked in the top 5 in various classifications.
