Idaho high school girls basketball rankings: Three new No. 1s emerge in latest poll

With the Idaho high school girls basketball season back in full swing after the holiday break, the latest state media poll saw several shifts at the top.

Middleton (5A), Oakley (2A) and Rockland (1A) each assumed the No. 1 ranking in their respective classifications. Meanwhile, Owyhee (6A), Timberlake (4A) and Malad (3A) all remained No. 1 for the third consecutive week.

Seven teams from Southwest Idaho ranked in their classification’s top 5, with Borah making its debut at No. 3 in the 6A poll, including one first-place vote. Skyline (5A) and Genesee (1A) were the only other newcomers.
