BOYS WRESTLER OF THE WEEK
Blake Nevils, Meridian: Started the Rollie Lane Invite as the 10th seed before making an underdog run to win the 126-pound bracket, helping the Warriors capture their third team title in the past five years.
Jakobe Valle, Homedale: Racked up four pins and a tech fall to win the 98-pound bracket at the Rollie Lane.
Quinn Hood, Fruitland: Scored five pins in the 215-pound bracket at Rollie Lane before a dramatic 11-10 decision over Burns’ Joe Weil to win his second straight title at the event.
Ryan Hirchert, Nampa: Took home a second-place medal from the Rollie Lane at 106 pounds after rallying to force overtime in the finals against a reigning Nevada state champ.
Carlos Valdez, Bishop Kelly: Fell just short of a Rollie Lane title in the 150-pound division, finishing second after a 17-15 loss and a takedown that came seconds after the buzzer.
Anthony Toomey, Eagle: Took second in the heavyweight division at Rollie Lane, scoring five pins after entering the tournament as the No. 7 seed.
Finnigan Moon, McCall-Donnelly: Pinned three opponents in 90 seconds or less for the heavyweight crown at the Orofino Maniac Invite.

GIRLS WRESTLER OF THE WEEK
Elise Twait, Meridian: Claimed the 145-pound title at the Rollie Lane with first-period pins in every round.
Charlee Noah, Tri-Valley: Battled her way to the 114-pound championship at the Rollie Lane, including five pins.
Zoe Fries, Kuna: Remained unbeaten with five pins, winning the 138-pound bracket at the Rollie Lane.
Ava Bui, Centennial: Lost a tight 7-6 decision in the championship match at 100 pounds to finish second at the Rollie Lane.
Braxlyn Jorgenson, Mountain View: Earned two pins to collect the 126-pound championship at the Traeden McPherson Memorial Tournament at Bear Lake High School.
