4A All-Idaho baseball team: Meet the 23 best players in the state in 2025

4A BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Dawson McInelly
Sugar-Salem, sr., SS/P
The Utah Tech commit and Gatorade player of the year turned in a season for the ages. The two-way force led all-classes in ERA (0.30), home runs (14) and slugging percentage (1.325). The 4A football player of the year also hit .558 with a .663 on-base percentage, both top marks in 4A.

Brady Gardner
Sugar-Salem
He led the Diggers (22-4) on a 19-game winning streak that led to their second straight state championship after entering as the lowest seed.
ALL-STATE FIRST TEAM
Titus Vidlak
Fruitland, so., SS/2B
He may hold two Dvision I football offers, but he made his second all-state baseball first team after hitting .424 and stealing a 4A-leading 35 bases.
Jackson Gardner
Sugar-Salem, sr., P/2B
The CSI commit made the first team for a third time after going 8-1 with a 1.57 ERA and 72 strikeouts. He also hit .337 with 39 RBIs.
Tate Whitworth
Marsh Valley, jr., SS/P
He led all classifications in hits (55), triples (nine) and runs scored (56) while hitting .556 for a second appearance on the first team.
Jahzyon Sylva
Payette, jr., SS/P
The Pirates always had a chance with 4A’s leader in innings (56) and strikeouts (81) on the mound. He also hit .447 and stole 28 bases.
Quinn Hood
Fruitland, sr., 1B/DH
The future College of Idaho dual-sport athlete hit .429 as a run-producing machine in the Grizzlies’ lineup, leading 4A with 44 RBIs.
Bo Larsen
Marsh Valley, sr., 3B/C
The four-year varsity member excelled no matter where the Eagles put him, hitting .522 with four home runs, 42 RBIs and 17 stolen bases.
Will Chappell
Sugar-Salem, sr., CF
The BYU commit and leadoff hitter makes his third appearance on the all-state first team after hitting .488 with eight home runs and 33 RBIs.
Chance Martell
Homedale, jr., SS/C
A nightmare on the basepaths who got on base at a .574 clip, he stole 27 bases and scored 50 runs. He also hit .419 and drove in 26 runs.
Carson Kile
Cole Valley Christian, so., 3B/P
The sophomore shined on the mound, going 6-2 with a 2.23 ERA and 62 Ks in 47 innings. He also hit .402 while playing multiple positions.
Ben Aldrich
Sugar-Salem, sr., 3B
The Montana Western football commit and the Diggers’ cleanup hitter returned from shoulder surgery to hit .395 with four home runs and 24 RBIs.
Blake Wilson
Cole Valley Christian, sr., UTIL/DH
A first-team pick last year in a lower division, the NNU commit didn’t slow down against 4A competition, hitting .484 with 15 doubles and 22 RBIs.
