SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Peyton Bargen, Eagle: Went 4-for-4 with three home runs and four RBIs in a 13-5 win over Centennial.

Danica Quinn, Rocky Mountain: Gave up one run on two hits while striking out 16 in a combined 6 ⅓ innings over two games. She also went 4-for-9 with three doubles, a home run and five RBIs.

Maddie Clark, Meridian: Went 4-for-7 with two home runs and 10 RBIs in a 27-22 win at Borah.

Elle Wemhoff, Kuna: Went 6-for-11 with a home run and five RBIs in three games.

Maggie McMullen, Borah: Went 7-for-13 with a double and two stolen bases in three games.

Julia Baerlocher, Bishop Kelly: Finished the week 3-for-6 with a home run and two RBIs while playing an error-free three games at shortstop.

Sophia Kassotis, Vallivue: Went 5-for-6 with six RBIs in three games.

Madi Janicek, Weiser: Went 3-0 inside the circle and didn’t give up an earned run over 17 innings, surrendering just five hits while striking out 32.

Wesli Crockett, Parma: Threw a five-inning, one-hit shutout and struck out 13 in a 16-0 win vs. New Plymouth. She also went 7-for-8 with a double, a triple, two home runs and 10 RBIs in three games.

Kodi Adams, Melba: Went 6-for-11 with three doubles, a home run and seven RBIs in four games at catcher.

Adrianna Hartzell, New Plymouth: Went 4-for-4 with three home runs and six RBIs to lead the Pilgrims to a 18-0 win at Fruitland. She finished the week 8-for-9 with eight RBIs.

Addison Gray, Nampa Christian: Went 12-for-19 with five doubles, three home runs, 13 RBIs and eight stolen bases to lead the Trojans to a 6-0 week.
