BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ryder Hollifield, Mountain View: Threw a five-inning no-hitter and struck out seven in an 11-0 win over Ridgevue.
Caleb Zawadzki, Eagle: Struck out 15 in a complete-game victory over Centennial, holding the Patriots to three runs on five hits.
Ian Lenius, Middleton: Held Rocky Mountain scoreless through six innings, giving up five hits while striking out 11 in a 6-0 win.
Cade Walker, Owyhee: Hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to propel the Storm to a 4-1 win over Rocky Mountain and remain undefeated.
Gabe Tanner, Columbia: Threw a five-inning, one-hit shutout and struck out six in a 15-0 win over Caldwell. He also went 2-for-2 with two doubles and four RBIs in the game.
Zach Wright, Bishop Kelly: Pitched a two-hit, five-inning shutout and struck out seven in an 11-0 victory against Emmett.
Blake Wilson, Cole Valley Christian: Went 7-for-10 with three doubles, a triple and three RBIs in three games.
Jayden Grosdidier, Fruitland: Went 7-for-11 with two triples and 10 RBIs to lead the Grizzlies to a 4-0 record for the week.
Cooper Shaw, New Plymouth: Hit a walk-off single in an 11-10 win over New Plymouth, finishing the week 6-for-10 with a double and three RBIs.
Cole Young, North Star Charter: Struck out 16 while holding Idaho City to two hits over six shutout innings in an 8-0 victory.
