BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Cannon Haws, Centennial: Threw five scoreless innings and struck out six in a 16-0 win at Boise. He also recorded a save with a scoreless inning vs. Timberline, and went 7-for-11 with six RBIs in three games.
Cooper Myers, Capital: Pitched a seven-inning complete game, holding Borah to one run on five hits with five strikeouts. He also threw a scoreless inning for the save vs. Boise, and went 4-for-6 with two RBIs in two games.
Jaxon Johnson, Ridgevue: Went 4-for-5 with two doubles, seven RBIs and five walks in three games.
Aiden Henzler, Rocky Mountain: Hit a walk-off triple in the eighth inning to lead the Grizzlies to a 3-2 win over Eagle. He finished the week 4-for-10 with two doubles, a triple and four RBIs.
Dallin Snooks, Eagle: Threw a five-inning, three-hit shutout and struck out eight in a 15-0 win over Boise. He also tripled, homered and drove in two runs during a 2-for-5 week at the plate.
Eli Daniel, Vallivue: Went 4-for-4 with three home runs and nine RBIs in a 20-3 win over Emmett, including two home runs in one inning and a grand slam in the next inning. He also struck out 10 for the complete-game win on the mound, and finished the week 9-for-13 with 11 RBIs.
Owen Moss, Caldwell: Struck out 10 and only gave up three hits in five scoreless innings in a 2-0 win over Nampa. He also went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI to aid his own cause.
Wylee Bidiman, Homedale: Went 9-for-17 with a double, three triples and six RBIs in four games.
Mike Lester, Melba: Threw a five-inning no-hitter and struck out 11 in a 10-0 win over New Plymouth.
Kaden Mullins, Nampa Christian: Struck out 14 and held Parma to one unearned run on five hits in 6 ⅔ innings in a 4-1 victory.
Luke Steinmeyer, Marsing: Tossed five scoreless innings and struck out six in a 10-0 win over Vision Charter. He also went 5-for-13 with four doubles, nine RBIs and seven stolen bases in four games.
Jaxon Erbe, Idaho City: Pitched a five-inning complete game in a 20-3 win over Gem State, holding the Jaguars to one earned run on one hit with nine strikeouts. He also went 3-for-8 with one RBI and three stolen bases in three games.
