GIRLS TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Olyvia Denison, Payette: Swept the high jump (5-0), long jump (16-9.5) and triple jump (36-0) in a Snake River Valley meet at Homedale High School.

Christine Huckins, Capital: Posted the fastest times in the state this season in the 100 (11.74) and 200 (24.15) in winning both events at the Boise Relays at Dona Larsen Park. Her 200 time was also a meet record, school record and the fastest time in Idaho history.

Hallie Heemeyer, Rocky Mountain: Clocked a personal-best and state-leading 4:56.14 to win the 1,600 at Boise Relays. She also placed second in the 3,200 in a personal-best 10:46.10.

Paisley Taylor, Meridian: Ran to victory in the 3,200 at the Boise Relays at Dona Larsen Park in a personal-best and state-leading 10:40.11. She also ran the second-fastest 1,600 time (4:56.84) this season.

Makenzie Baisch, Eagle: Ran a personal-best and state-leading 45.04 to win the 300 hurdles at the Boise Relays at Dona Larsen Park.

Josie Davis, Owyhee: Tied for the state’s best mark in the high jump (5-4) this season, winning the event at the Boise Relays. She also placed second in the triple jump (36-5).

Breanna Martin, Middleton: Cleared 12-0 to win the pole vault at Boise Relays. It is the best mark in the state this season.

Lydia Lindsey, Fruitland: Posted a leap of 17-4, a season best, to win the long jump at Boise Relays. It is the fourth-best mark in the state this season.

Nadja Burkholder, Timberline: Won the triple jump at Boise Relays with a season-best and state-leading distance of 37-3.75.

Ryllie Smith, Emmett: Tossed a personal-best 129-11 to win the discus at Boise Relays. It is the fourth-best throw in the state this season.

BOYS TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Hudson Lewis, Timberline: Clocked a personal-best and state-leading time of 10.67 in winning the 100 at the Boise Relays at Dona Larsen Park.

Myles Johnson-Nicholson, Kuna: Improved on his own state-leading time in the 400 by winning the event in 48.71 at Boise Relays.

Nate Stadtlander, Meridian: Ran the fastest 800 time in the state this season, clocking a 1:55.09 to win the event in a meet with Eagle, Nampa and Caldwell. He also won the 3,200 (9:07.93) at Boise Relays.

Chase Lawyer, Boise: Set school records and personal bests in the 110 hurdles (14.04) and 300 hurdles (37.23) at meets last week.

Kelvin Obot, Fruitland: Won the shot put at a Snake River Valley meet at Homedale High with a personal-best throw of 53-1, which ranks No. 3 in the state.

Elliot Schrack, Capital: Took over the No. 1 spot in the state in the javelin with a throw of 151-6. He won the event at a tri-meet and Boise Relays last week.

Jacob Farmer, Eagle: Cleared a personal-best 15-0 to win the pole vault at Boise Relays. It is tied for the second-best mark in the state this season.

Caden Warren, Ridgevue: Posted a personal-best distance of 22-9.5 to win the long jump at a quad meet at Owyhee High. It is the No. 2 mark in the state this season.

Timothy Price, Rocky Mountain: Recorded a personal-best mark of 45-8.75 to win the triple jump at Boise Relays. It is the No. 2 distance in the state this season. He also placed fifth in the high jump.

4x400 relay, Vallivue: Dawson Mann, Jarrett Adams, Jokobe Davis and David Gummersall ran a 3:23.17 in the event at Oregon Relays to place second out of 67 teams. It is the top time in Idaho this season.
