BOYS WRESTLING ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Ryan Lewis, Middleton: Won the 175-pound bracket at the Calhoun Classic in Nyssa (OR), including two wins by technical fall and a pin.

Anthony Toomey, Eagle: Became a three-time champion at the Warhawks Invitational at Ridgevue High School, winning the 285-pound bracket.

Ryker Andreason, Owyhee: Claimed the 113-pound title at the Warhawks Invitational at Ridgevue High School, including a pin in 5:00 of the championship match.

Cruz Ramirez, Meridian: Went 5-0 at the Warhawks Invitational at Ridgevue High School, including a pin and two technical falls at 132 pounds.

Jake Farar, Ridgevue: Collected the 215-pound championship at the Warhawks Invitational at Ridgevue High School, winning four matches by pin.

Trevor Paynter, Homedale: Pinned his opponent in 2:53 in the championship match of the 113-pound bracket at the Calhoun Classic in Nyssa (OR).

Quinn Hood, Fruitland: Pinned his opponent in just 42 seconds in the championship match of the 215-pound bracket at the Calhoun Classic in Nyssa (OR).

Draven Johns, Caldwell: Won the 132-pound bracket at the Calhoun Classic in Nyssa (OR) with a pin of his opponent at the 4:47 mark of the title match.

Konnor Fordyce, Kuna: Took first place at 138 pounds at the Calhoun Classic in Nyssa (OR), including a pin at 1:58 in the championship match.

Gabriel Cox, New Plymouth: Improved to 10-0 on the season by winning the 190-pound championship at the Calhoun Classic in Nyssa (OR).

GIRLS WRESTLING ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Genevra McAbee, Vallivue: Went unbeaten at the Cooper D. Lish Memorial Tournament at Marsh Valley High School, winning all four matches by pin at 120 pounds.

Reese Habel, Middleton: Won the 170-pound bracket at the Calhoun Classic in Nyssa (OR), recording three consecutive pins on her way to the title.

Tommy Stone, Eagle: Took first at the Warhawks Invitational at Ridgevue High School, including a pin at the 2:55 mark of the championship match.

Emma McDuffey, Ridgevue: Won all five of her matches by pin to claim the gold medal at 145 pounds at the Warhawks Invitational at Ridgevue High School.

Ryleigh Slocum, Borah: Won four matches by pin on her way to the 100-pound championship at the Warhawks Invitational at Ridgevue High school.

Kyra Cobb, Timberline: Pinned Eagle’s Kanani Watts in 2:37 in the championship match of the 107-pound bracket at the Warhawks Invitational at Ridgevue High School.

Katerina Ivanova, Bishop Kelly: Won two matches by pin in less than a minute to claim the 132-pound championship at the Warhawks Invitational at Ridgevue High School.

Zoe Fries, Kuna: Pinned her opponent in 25 seconds in the championship match at 140 pounds at the Calhoun Classic in Nyssa (OR).

Kali Waggoner, Tri-Valley: Took home gold in the 125-pound bracket at the Calhoun Classic in Nyssa (OR) with a pin at the 1:44 mark of the championship match.

Elise Twait, Meridian: Pinned her opponent at the 1:43 mark of the championship match to win the 155-pound bracket at the Calhoun Classic in Nyssa (OR).
