Favorites at the Idaho girls basketball state tournaments — according to the ‘experts’

The district tournaments are in full swing, and Idaho will crown its girls basketball state champions next week. That means it’s time for one thing — the final statewide media poll of the season.

Coeur d’Alene climbed to No. 1 in 5A for the first time this season after Rigby spoiled then-No. 1 Thunder Ridge’s perfect season.

Melba also closed the year as the unanimous top-ranked team in 2A.
