The Boise State men’s basketball team continued its offseason roster shuffle Friday with the addition of a 6-foot-8, 230-pound forward from St. John’s.

O’Mar Stanley announced his commitment on social media: “Next chapter,” Stanley wrote, accompanied by a picture of himself in a Boise State uniform.

As a sophomore in 2022-23, Stanley started 18-of-31 games for the Red Storm, averaging 4.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game while shooting a team-best 64.9% from the field. He appeared in all 30 games as a freshman off the bench with averages of 3.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 10.1 minutes per game.

Before joining the college ranks, Stanley spent a season at Link Year Prep in Branson, Missouri. During his high school career, Stanley was a Class 6A All-State Second Team selection by the Topeka Capital-Journal as a senior at Blue Valley West High School in Overland Park, Kansas.

Also new to the Broncos this fall will be UC San Diego transfer Roddie Anderson III, Kansas transfer Cam Martin, and incoming freshmen Andrew Meadow, Emmanuel Ugbo and Chris Lockett.
