Idaho Statesman newsroom takes home 53 awards for 2025. Check out the winners
The Idaho Statesman took home 53 awards on Saturday night at the Idaho Press Club Awards, marking another year the staff is the most decorated newsroom in the state. Each year, the competition recognizes excellence in journalism across Idaho.
The Statesman’s reporters and staff won first place in 18 categories, including Reporter of the Year (Kevin Fixler,) Sports Reporter of the Year (Shaun Goodwin) and Photographer of the Year (Darin Oswald).
Darin Oswald and Sarah Miller, who make up the photo and video team, took home a combined 15 awards.
