Seemingly normal exterior of Texas home for sale disguises a jolting interior. See it
A house for sale in Midland, Texas, is getting a lot of extra attention online after it was featured on a popular social media page. While the front of the three-bedroom, two-bathroom home might be on the unsuspecting side, the interior of the house certainly is anything but.
The 1,617-square-foot residence — which is listed for $389,900 — hides an extremely colorful interior, with bursts of color that come to life when walking from room to room. The living room wall is checkered with yellows, reds, blues and pinks, while a brick wall for the fireplace helps tone down the loudness of color that echoes throughout.
The home had just been updated in 2024 with a new roof, replaced windows and granite.
The kitchen seems to come alive with sapphire blue cabinets and a new dishwasher that was installed in 2022, the listing on Zillow says.
The interior drew in eyes from Zillow Gone Wild, a Facebook page that highlights unique houses on the real estate market all around the country.
“An artist/ graphic designer lives here. You have to appreciate art to understand this!! Not everyone’s cup of tea but this is totally awesome!” one person said.
“I like it … I think your space should be joyful and inspiring,” another chimed in.
“I have to admire people who aren’t afraid to show their artistic side and use bold colors and patterns. Very unique decorating, definitely one of a kind,” someone noted.
“So this is a whole vibe, but, I honestly love that bathroom with the flowers on the ceiling!!” one person commented.
Midland is about a 300-mile drive southwest from Fort Worth.
