At 6:43 p.m. Wednesday the Nampa man, 53, was traveling westbound on Victory Road on a motorcycle when he collided with a Volvo sedan driven by a 75-year-old Nampa man, according to a news release from Idaho State Police.

The Volvo which was also westbound, was making a left turn just west of Robinson Road when the motorcyclist tried to pass a vehicle behind the Volvo and crashed into the sedan, police said. The motorcyclist, who wasn’t wearing a helmet, died at the scene.
