The person who died Saturday in a two-vehicle crash in West Boise has been identified by the Ada County Coroner’s Office.

Kess T. Boesch, a 21-year-old woman from Boise, was identified as the person who died, according to an Ada County Coroner’s Office news release. She was the passenger in the vehicle traveling northbound on Eagle Road. She died of blunt force injuries at 5:45 p.m. Saturday, according to the coroner’s release. She died at the scene.

The collision happened just before 4 p.m. Saturday, according to a Boise Police Department news release. The vehicle traveling north on Eagle Road turned left at Baldcypress Street and was hit by another vehicle traveling south on Eagle.

The male driver of the northbound vehicle was hospitalized with “life-threatening injuries,” the police release said. The driver and passenger in the southbound vehicle were not injured, according to police.

Fire, paramedic and police personnel from multiple agencies responded, Boise Police spokeswoman Haley Williams said. Boise Police and Meridian Police are investigating the crash.
