Multiple injuries after West Boise crash; Eagle Road partially blocked, police say

Multiple people are injured after a Saturday afternoon two-vehicle crash in West Boise, according to Boise Police. Southbound traffic on Eagle Road between West McMillan Road and West Ustick Road is closed as a result.

The collision occurred after a vehicle traveling north on Eagle Road turned left at Baldcypress Street and was hit by another vehicle traveling south on Eagle, according to police spokesperson Haley Williams.

The crash, which happened just before 4 p.m., caused “multiple injuries,” according to a police tweet posted at 5:18 p.m.

Fire, paramedic and police authorities from multiple agencies responded, Williams said.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
