An Idaho man is in jail after police say he abused a child over several years, and Boise police believe there could be other victims.
Wayne Norman, 68, was booked into the Ada County Jail on one felony count of lewd conduct with a child under the age of 16, according to a news release from the Boise Police Department.
Police were first notified of the alleged abuse in July and began investigating Norman. Police later found evidence of the lewd conduct that “happened over a number of years” after investigating further and serving a search warrant. The victim was under the age of 16 when the reported abuse began, according to police.
Norman was booked into jail at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday, according to online jail records.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims. If you or someone you know has additional information regarding Norman, contact Ada County Dispatch by calling 208-377-6790.
