A Nampa man is charged with felony child enticement through the internet after allegedly using a social media app with the intention of meeting a minor younger than 15 for sexual purposes.

Kammiron Hicks, 21, was arrested Tuesday by detectives from the Boise Police Department and deputies from the U.S. Marshal’s task force after he traveled from another city to Boise to meet the minor, according to a press release from BPD.

Hicks is also charged with disseminating material harmful to a minor, a misdemeanor. He was arraigned Friday afternoon and a $100,000 bond was set, but he remains in custody at the Ada County jail pending a preliminary hearing on Aug. 31.
