Police arrest Boise man on 3 felony charges, including rape, for alleged April attack
Joel Guerrero, 47, of Boise, was arrested on Wednesday for an alleged sexual assault in April after the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office issued a warrant, according to a news release.
Guerrero is facing three felony charges: rape, forcible penetration by the use of a foreign object and kidnapping.
The Boise Police Department said officers responded to a call for an alleged attack that occurred the morning of April 27. After an investigation, officers found evidence that Guerrero, who was known to the victim, had gone to the victim’s home shortly after midnight, where he raped her and held her against her will, according to the release.
Guerrero was booked into the Ada County Jail and is being held on $1 million bail.
