Developer says Michigan manufacturer will bring this new plant, 100s of jobs to Nampa
A Michigan manufacturer is set to begin construction this month on a plant in Nampa that eventually will employ at least 236 people, the plant’s developer says.
The Stow Co., which makes custom closet organizers and home organization systems, will begin construction on the $143 million manufacturing building in a 194-acre industrial park being developed by Boise-based Adler Industrial.
The plant would be the first development in the industrial park, located in North Nampa along Midland Boulevard and Ustick Road.
“This new facility in Nampa is a critical milestone in Stow’s growth and will help us more effectively support our customers who reside in the western half of the United States,” said Randy Tallman, chief operating officer of The Stow Co., in a news release.
The building would have 550,000 square feet. It would be Stow’s third manufacturing site in the U.S.
Stow said it expects the building to be completed in May 2023.
“We welcome The Stow Co. to Nampa and look forward to future community partnerships,” said Nampa Mayor Debbie Kling, in the release. “We appreciate their investment in Nampa and the additional job opportunities they are providing to our community of qualified workers.”
Adler Industrial hopes to fill 19 buildings in the industrial park, said the firm’s president, Michael Adler, in the release.
“Stow is a great first development for the park,” Adler said.
Stow was established 30 years ago and is headquartered in Holland, Michigan.
