It’s not easy to find the perfect Mother’s Day gift — one that’s worthy of the people who raised you.

If you haven’t made plans yet, or ordered that World’s Best Mom mug, don’t panic.

The Boise area has plenty of options for celebrating that special someone in your life.

Here are just a few of the Mother’s Day weekend events happening in and around Boise in 2026:

Victory Gardens market

Where: 120 East Victory Road, Meridian

When: 11 a.m. to noon, Saturday, May 9

Cost: Free

What: You can find 75 vendors at this annual Mother’s Day market hosted at Meridian’s Victory Gardens plant nursery. Let your mom choose her own gift this year, with options ranging from handmade candles to fresh bread. “It’s the perfect place to find a meaningful gift, enjoy great food and spend a lovely day together,” the nursery said on its website.

There’s also a coffee shop for your caffeine needs — Coffee Co.

Fall into Fiction book market

Where: The Caldwell Train Depot, 701 Main St., Caldwell

When: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 9

Cost: Free

What: This Mother’s Day market is for all the book lovers. It’s hosted by Fall into Fiction, run by three best friends who “decided to create a place for the book loving community that we craved.”

You can find local authors, books, crafts and snacks at this book fair.

Fragrance and Flowers

Where: 7009 West Fairview Road, Boise

When: Noon to 5 p.m., Saturday, May 9

Cost: $50

What: Head to The Femme Foundry to curate your own bespoke fragrance, put together a bouquet and enjoy refreshments. No reservations are required.

“Celebrate Mother’s Day with a unique, hands-on experience at the Fragrance & Flowers event, a thoughtfully curated event designed to honor womanhood, sisterhood and motherhood in all its forms,” organizers said.

The Femme Foundry advertises itself as “Boise’s first women-owned indie beauty store” and sells Stinaface, the shop’s “founding line” of beauty products..

Open Studio craft event

Where: 1755 South Broadway Ave., Boise

When: Noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 9

Cost: $13 to $36, depending on which craft you choose

What: Make trinket dishes or plant holders of various sizes and styles at this event, hosted by Boise arts and crafts studio Bonita Creative Space. Options to choose from include mosaic and beaded artwork.

Dear Mom comedy special

Where: 105 South Sixth St., Boise

When: 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, May 10

Cost: $15.90, $21.20 for frontline priority

What: Enjoy a live comedy special at The Reef, a tropical outdoor tiki bar in Boise. Performers Lamar, Greg G. and Montana will do their best to make you and Mom laugh before the headliner, Asimba, takes the stage.

Paint and Sip

Where: 111 West 33rd St., Garden City

When: 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 10

Cost: $51.71 per person

What: Head to the Western Collective, a Garden City taproom and brewery, to create a painting that you and Mom can treasure forever. Hosted by a Classpop team, the artist-led event will provide drinks and supplies for attendees. Arrive 10 minutes early to get set up on time for the session, and wear clothes you don’t mind spilling some paint on.

Lululemon Pilates

Where: Lululemon, 3597 East Monarch Sky Lane, Suite No. 100, Meridian

When: 9 to 10 a.m. Sunday, May 10

Cost: Free, reservations required

What: This Mother’s Day activity will be led by Lululemon ambassador Elizabeth Healy on the lawn in front of the store in The Village at Meridian, an outdoor mall and events center. Grab a coffee and your favorite matching set. After building up a sweat, you can treat your mom to an hour of private shopping.
