Sip beers, play tennis and hit the pool while the kids roam at Eagle’s new gym

Since the new Life Time center first welcomed pickleball and tennis enthusiasts to its indoor courts in May 2025, volleys and lessons have occasionally paused for a beer break at the self-pour beer and wine station in the clubhouse.

The space is popular in Eagle and open year-round. Its arrival has built anticipation and expectations around the club’s expanded offerings for months.

On Wednesday, Life Time opened its center in full. Some people took to social media after the unveiling. “You all did such a fabulous job!” one guest wrote, congratulating the staff on the club’s Instagram launch video. “I loved my first class and can’t wait to take others.” Another guest wrote on Facebook that although he didn’t feel fancy enough to have been there, it was a great experience, adding his kids “are stoked for the year round pool.”

Today, the full 135,000-square-foot facility just off of Highway 44 and South Edgewood Way offers some amenities new to many local gym goers.

Memberships start at $299 per month, steep for gyms in the area. “$300 a month and $200 down is excessive when you do not have the right equipment, space, or facility to justify [the price],” one visitor wrote in a Google review. Gyms like Anytime Fitness and Villa Sport, both in Eagle, each offer plans for about $36 monthly.

Life Time staff seem to think they’ve set themselves apart from the competition. There are more than 20 gyms and fitness centers in Eagle.

“Eagle is a community that truly values health, family and living well, and Life Time Eagle was built to reflect exactly that,” said Hayley Allen, club leader at Life Time Eagle. “This isn’t just a place to work out. It’s a place where people come to connect, prioritize their health and make longevity a lifestyle.”

In addition to weights and five specialized classrooms, the club includes two outdoor pools, a lounging deck, locker areas with a whirlpool, sauna, steam room, and cold plunge.

Kids ages 3 months to 11 years old will be free to roam the Kids Academy while their parents work and play, and an in-house health food cafe will be on hand to feed the family.
