The development would include a community vegetable garden, a meditation garden, a rose garden and walking garden.

In his application to the city, Project Manager Dean Waite said he expected that the houses would attract retirees looking to downsize.

Admiral Beverage Corp., a Pepsi bottler based in Boise, will lease 36,500 square feet of a newly finished 67,500-square-foot building on Norco Way in Nampa. Adler Industrial LLC, of Boise, is building an industrial park there.

Kuna

Gary McAllister has asked to subdivide 6 acres near the southwest corner of School Avenue and Avalon Road for 22 residential lots.

A public hearing on the project, called Corbin’s Cove subdivision, has been tabled to Tuesday, April 14, because City Hall is closed to the public to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Kuna is asking to expand the northernmost boundary of its area of city impact, the area where it expects to grow in the future.

The expansion, if approved, would bring Kuna’s area of city impact in line with Meridian’s. It would extend the boundary from West Lake Hazel road to encompass previously annexed parcels south of Amity Road and west of Meridian Road.
