The latest proposed developments, other construction projects and new businesses around the Treasure Valley:
Meridian
Ball Ventures Ahlquist has applied for a building permit to build the first “flex” office space building as part of its new Central Valley Plaza development, which is going up near the corner of Idaho 16 and Chinden Boulevard in northwest Meridian.
The 71-acre complex will also include a surgery center and a senior living center, the Statesman previously reported.

The Fourplex Investment Group, or FIG, of Provo, Utah, has begun construction on the Entrata Farms subdivision, according to building permits filed with the city. The 238-unit apartment complex going up on Franklin Road between Black Cat and Ten Mile roads.

V’s Barbershop, a chain based in Phoenix, Arizona, with barber shops around the country, is opening a shop at 150 S. Ten Mile Road in the Ten Mile Creek Subdivision.

Caldwell
Trilogy Development of Boise applied to annex 35 acres on the south side of Marble Front Road east of Aviation Way to build 132 houses. The subdivision would be called Marblefront West.

Trilogy is also looking to annex 42 acres and rezone 6 more as part of its planned Masterson Ranch subdivision. In total, the new subdivision would include 48 acres and 175 houses at the southwest corner of Middleton Road and the future Skyway Street extension.
Star
M3 Cos. is requesting approval of the final plat of 74 houses in the 24-acre second phase of the Moon Valley subdivision, located at 7575 W. Moon Valley Road just north of the Boise River.
The entire subdivision will include 267 single-family houses, with lot sizes ranging from 5,454 to 34,727 square feet.
Adjacent to the Moon Valley subdivision, M3 is also requesting approval to annex and rezone 10 acres of agricultural land for 14 houses. That subdivision would be called Moon Valley Estates.
In addition, M3 is also asking Star to approve a preliminary plan for a 93-house subdivision on 31 acres of current farmland just east of Highway 16, for a subdivision to be called Moon Valley Commons.

RiceWorks Asian Street Food is opening a restaurant in downtown Kuna at 482 W. Main Street. This will be the contemporary Asian fusion joint’s second restaurant. Its first is at the Village at Meridian.
