The latest proposed developments, other construction projects and new businesses around the Treasure Valley:
Meridian
Star Development, Inc., a Meridian company owned by Allen Lee Centers, wants to build a on 52 acres at the southwest intersection of West Harris Street and South Meridian Road. The subdivision, to be called Graycliff Estates, would also include a neighborhood park.
The existing entitlements allow for 134 single-family residential lots and two multifamily buildings.
Centers is also working on two nearby subdivisions: Biltmore Estates and Brundage Estates.

Boise
A Caldwell man who owns 4 acres on State Street west of Gary Lane in Boise is proposing to build 60 apartments there.
Kelly Kitchens proposes to develop 9000 W. State St. into 60 apartments in six two-story buildings. The site is located between Guthrie Stone and the Duncan’s Landing subdivision and now has a farmhouse built in 1940 and an old silo. The property was annexed into Boise in 2014.
The area is not zoned for apartments, so Kitchens has asked that it be rezoned. The Boise Planning and Zoning Commission has scheduled a public hearing on the project at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at City Hall, 150 N. Capitol Blvd.

Acme LLC, a division of The Conger Group, is seeking to to rezone a five-acre parcel to create 18 residential lots at 12600 W. Goldenrod Ave., near North Cloverdale and West McMillan roads. An existing single-family home would remain, while several outbuildings would be removed.
A hearing before the Boise City Council has been scheduled at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at City Hall, 150 N. Capitol Blvd.

Chargebacks911 has opened an office at 1010 N. Orchard St., Suite 2.
The company, owned by Monica Eaton-Cardone and based in Tampa Bay, Florida, helps online merchants prevent fraudulent claims by consumers on their credit cards. “We’re looking forward to joining the Boise business community and meeting our new friends and neighbors,” Eaton-Cardone said in a news release.
The office will be led by Don Bush, formerly vice president of marketing for Kount, a Boise business that also helps fight chargebacks and counter other types of fraud.

Eagle
Tamara Jahelka and Miranda Deckwa Jasper are requesting a conditional use permit for a 24-student day care center near at 2230 East Dunyon St., north of East State Street and west of Highway 55.
They are hoping to repurpose the site as a preschool, which they’re calling Wild Blooms Nature Preschool, and an urban farm called Bohemian Bloom and Herb Farm, which will grow lavender, herbs and cut flowers.

PetIQ, maker of a variety of dog treats and provider of veterinary services, is looking to build a new office on East Eagle River Street near the Idaho Pizza Co. and the Saint Alphonsus Eagle Health Plaza. Its current offices are located just to the south, at 923. S. Bridgeway Place, near the Hilton Garden Inn off Eagle Road.

Nampa
The Seattle-based chain MOD Pizza is opening a restaurant at 1275 N. Happy Valley Road, near WinCo and J.C. Penney off Interstate 84. MOD stands for made on demand.
