This restaurant chain has 4,000 units but none in Idaho. Here it comes, Meridian
A global restaurant chain with ambitious goals in America has its eye on Idaho — specifically, Meridian.
Paris Baguette bakery and cafe is on track to open its first Gem State location in an expansion underway at The Village at Meridian — at 3395 E. Longwing Lane, suite 150, according to city permitting. Village General Manager Hugh Crawford said he thought the plan was for a target opening date during the final quarter of the year.
Paris Baguette is not from France. It’s a Korean brand. The chain operates “over 4,000 units worldwide and 250-plus locations across 26-plus U.S. states,” according to its franchising website. “With plans to reach 1,000 units by 2030, we’re offering a prime opportunity for franchisees and area developers to join a rapidly growing brand.”
When it opens, Idaho customers will find display cases filled with a massive array of pastries, fancy cakes, warm breads, tempting tarts and sweets. Sandwiches, salads and wraps also are sold, along with a variety of brewed and frozen beverages.
In Midvale, Utah, a Paris Baguette is rated 4.6 out of 5 stars on Google. “This place is very clean, classy and stylish,” a recent review gushes. “They have some of the best pastries you’ll ever try! Key examples include the chocolate cream croissant … and the king cream donut. Extremely tasty and satisfying.”
