World’s top-selling comedian sets new sales records at ExtraMile Arena in Boise

Family-friendly joke topics aside, have you ever wondered if there’s another reason why Nate Bargatze is known as a clean stand-up comic?

Because whenever the dude goes on tour, he cleans up.

Pollstar’s highest-grossing comedian of 2024, Bargatze packed Boise State’s ExtraMile Arena on Sunday night.

His Big Dumb Eyes World Tour set new venue records at ExtraMile for highest-grossing comedy event and most tickets sold to a comedy event, according to a press release. Performing in the round, Bargatze sold 11,800 tickets to the show. That’s the 10th highest-grossing event of all time at the arena.

What event holds the overall ticket-sales record at ExtraMile Arena? Or overall attendance record, period? Was it a Broncos basketball game? An epic rock concert?

That information was not immediately available.

But when it comes exclusively to comedy, “Bargatze surpassed previous record holders, including Tom Segura, Theo Von and Kevin Hart in gross sales and ticket volume,” according to the release, “marking a major milestone for comedy in Idaho and continuing the comedian’s nationwide streak of historic arena sellouts.”
